As a Fiber Optic Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and smooth operation of a passive fiber optic network. Your day-to-day activities involve conducting OTDR measurements, analyzing fault locations, and implementing sustainable error corrections. You will be a key quality gatekeeper, ensuring all technical and regulatory standards are met. This role requires a blend of hands-on technical work, such as splicing and documentation, and coordination tasks, where you will manage external civil engineering and assembly teams. Required Skills

Education

Experience

  • Professional experience in fiber optic network operations, specifically within NE3 and NE4 levels
  • Proven experience in conducting OTDR measurements and performing complex fault analysis
  • Experience in creating and maintaining technical network documentation and splicing plans
  • Experience in coordinating and supervising external service providers such as civil engineering and assembly teams
  • Experience working within a technical team environment requiring clear communication and assertiveness
