Job Summary
This role involves managing the full lifecycle of energy consulting projects for residential, commercial, and municipal clients. As an Energy Efficiency Expert, you will be responsible for creating comprehensive energy concepts, performing technical calculations in accordance with the German Buildings Energy Act (GEG), and conducting energy audits. Day-to-day tasks include thermal bridge simulations, heating load calculations, and providing expert guidance on federal funding programs such as BEG, KfW, and BAFA. You will also oversee construction quality assurance and issue energy performance certificates. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Engineering, Environmental Technology, Energy Technology, or a comparable qualification; alternatively, completed vocational training in Building Energy Technology, Sustainable Energy Systems, or as a State-Certified Technician. Additional certification as an Energy Consultant is desirable.
Experience
- Professional experience in the analysis and consultation of holistic energy concepts
- Experience in technical planning and creating calculations for building energy laws and funding guidelines
- Proven experience with energy calculation software and thermal bridge simulation tools
- Experience in construction supervision and quality assurance is required
- Professional background in engineering, environmental technology, or energy technology
