Job Summary

This role involves conceptualizing and delivering environmental education programs and guided tours at the Müritzeum, Germany's largest freshwater aquarium and nature discovery center. As a key member of the team, you will design educational activities for diverse groups, including children, youth, seniors, and people with disabilities. Your day-to-day will involve coordinating event logistics, communicating with tour operators, and creating educational materials. Beyond the classroom, you will represent the center at public events like trade fairs and festivals, while also mentoring volunteers and interns. This position is ideal for someone passionate about nature conservation and public engagement. Required Skills

Education

University degree in biological/natural sciences, pedagogy, or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in environmental education or nature conservation pedagogy
  • Experience in designing and conducting educational tours or events for diverse audiences
  • Experience in public relations or representing organizations at public events
  • Experience in coordinating with travel agencies and managing bookings
