Job Summary

This role involves supporting the Institute for Clinical Nutritional Medicine at the TUM University Hospital (Rechts der Isar) through comprehensive laboratory management and specialized analytical tasks. As a Technical Assistant, you will manage laboratory organization, maintain scientific equipment, and coordinate environmental sampling systems. A core focus of the position is the technical supervision of mass spectrometers (GC-MS and LC-MS), where you will perform calibrations, determine volatile substances, and develop separation methods. You will also be responsible for planning and evaluating environmental simulations in exposure chambers and documenting methods via SOPs. Beyond technical tasks, you will play a vital role in the academic environment by training Master's and PhD students in gas chromatography fundamentals. This position is ideal for a proactive professional who enjoys interdisciplinary collaboration and high-tech analytical work within a prestigious clinical and research setting.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as a Chemical-Technical Assistant (CTA) or a state-recognized Technical Assistant.

Experience
