Job Summary

This role involves managing the rainwater drainage infrastructure within the Urban Greenery and Transport department for the City of Lübeck. As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for the inventory assessment of existing drainage systems, planning small-scale repairs and new construction projects, and independently leading construction sites. Your day-to-day tasks include creating detailed service descriptions, evaluating bids, conducting contract negotiations, and performing on-site construction supervision to ensure quality, cost, and schedule compliance. You will also serve as a point of contact for citizen inquiries and coordinate closely with internal departments and external disposal companies. Required Skills

Education

Experience

  • Experience in civil engineering, specifically in underground engineering or urban water management
  • Experience in creating service descriptions and performance directories
  • Experience with public construction administration or municipal authorities is desirable
  • Proven track record in site supervision and deficiency management
