Job Summary
This role is based within the Quality Control department of a market-leading pharmaceutical and chemical company specializing in PET diagnostics. As a Scientific Associate, you will be responsible for the qualification and characterization of reference standards, which involves the processing, evaluation, and documentation of analytical data. A unique aspect of this position is the integration of IT and laboratory science; you will develop and adapt small scripts and tools to support laboratory processes and enhance automation. You will work closely with various specialist departments to ensure high standards of quality control. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Physics, or a comparable scientific qualification
Experience
- Professional experience in a GMP-regulated environment is preferred
- Experience in programming or scripting (HTML, VBA, Java, Python, or iScript)
- Experience with common laboratory information systems (e.g., LIMS) is advantageous
- Demonstrated experience in processing and documenting analytical data
- Experience in the qualification and characterization of chemical or biological standards
