Job Summary

As a Chemical Technical Assistant in the Vehicle and Assembly Emission team, you will be at the core of automotive validation and consulting operations. Based initially in Stuttgart before transitioning to Heimsheim, you will be responsible for the meticulous planning, preparation, and execution of emission tests for both individual components and complete vehicles. Your daily tasks involve documenting measurement data, maintaining sophisticated analytical equipment, and ensuring rigorous quality control of testing instruments. Additionally, you will manage sample logistics, including acceptance, registration, and archiving. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys working in a laboratory environment to help automotive manufacturers meet and exceed current industry standards. The position offers an attractive package including 38 days of annual leave, flexible working hours without core times, and a permanent contract in a future-oriented industry.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as a Chemical Technical Assistant (CTA), Chemistry Laboratory Technician, or a comparable technical qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience as a Chemical Technical Assistant (CTA), Chemistry Laboratory Technician, or in a similar technical role
  • Experience in planning and conducting component and vehicle emission tests
  • Proven track record in maintaining and calibrating laboratory analytical instruments
  • Experience in quality assurance and monitoring of testing equipment
  • Practical experience in sample management and logistics
