Job Summary

As the Global Tax Manager at GEBHARDT Intralogistics Group, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and leading the newly formed 'Global Taxes' team. This is a high-impact position where you will oversee all national and international tax matters, including VAT, corporate tax, and withholding tax. You will be responsible for designing and implementing a Tax Compliance Management System (TCMS), managing transfer pricing evolution, and providing tax guidance for international projects such as permanent establishments and local subsidiaries. A key focus of the role is process innovation, specifically optimizing tax workflows within SAP and driving digitalization through E-Finance and E-Invoicing initiatives. This position is ideal for a proactive professional who enjoys building structures from the ground up and collaborating across departments like Sales, HR, and Controlling. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Business Administration, Law, or a comparable qualification with a focus on Taxation. Tax Advisor (Steuerberater) exam or equivalent additional qualification is preferred.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in an international tax environment, either within industry or a Big Four accounting firm
  • Extensive experience in German tax law and international tax issues, particularly within the EU/Europe
  • Experience in tax structuring for international projects, including permanent establishments and local entities
  • Initial leadership experience or clear potential to lead and build a team
  • Experience managing tax audits and communicating with tax authorities and auditors
  • Proven track record in optimizing tax processes within ERP systems
