Job Summary
As a Systems Engineer at Liebherr-Rostock, you will be responsible for the overall design and architecture of power electronic systems for maritime cranes, including ship, port, and offshore models. Your daily activities involve creating technical system designs, performing simulations to optimize efficiency and stability, and specifying interfaces for complex components like electric motors and sensors. You will play a critical role in managing electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), grounding, and protection mechanisms to ensure safe operation under all conditions. Required Skills
Education
Master's degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, preferably with a focus on Power Electronics, Electric Drives, or Electrical Power Engineering.
Experience
- Professional experience in power electronics and the control of electrical machines
- Extensive knowledge and experience with EMC and protection concepts
- Experience in creating technical specifications and interface definitions
- Familiarity with systematic engineering methods and design processes
- Practical experience with simulation tools like Matlab/Simulink is preferred
