Job Summary
As a PLC Programmer at FERCHAU, you will be responsible for the end-to-end development and optimization of PLC programs for automated systems and machinery. Your daily activities will include developing software solutions, performing on-site commissioning of control systems, and conducting detailed error analysis and troubleshooting on existing controls. You will also create visualizations using industry-standard tools and document software solutions to support the creation of operating manuals. This role requires close collaboration with electrical design, control cabinet construction, and mechanical engineering teams. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training or a university degree in the field of Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in PLC programming using Siemens S7, TIA Portal, or Beckhoff TwinCAT
- Practical experience in the commissioning of machines and industrial plants
- Experience in creating visualizations and technical documentation
- Proven track record of independent and structured problem-solving in automation environments
Languages
Additional
- Willingness to travel to customer sites for commissioning is required.
