Job Summary
This role involves the development and programming of innovative PLC control systems using industry-standard platforms like Siemens S7 or Beckhoff TwinCAT. As a key member of the technical team, you will be responsible for creating visualizations and user interfaces via WinCC or TIA Portal, ensuring seamless integration into existing client systems. A significant portion of the role focuses on on-site commissioning, where you will diagnose and resolve malfunctions, provide detailed technical documentation, and conduct training for operating personnel. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or a comparable qualification; alternatively, completed vocational training with further qualification as a State-Certified Technician (Techniker) or Bachelor Professional.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in PLC programming with Siemens S7, Beckhoff, or similar systems
- Proven experience in the commissioning of complex machines and industrial plants at customer sites
- Experience in creating visualizations and user interfaces for industrial environments
- Professional experience in diagnosing and rectifying technical malfunctions
Languages
Additional
- Willingness to travel worldwide for project assignments is required. Must be able to communicate effectively in a production environment.
