Job Summary

As an Electrical Design Engineer at FERCHAU, you will be responsible for the independent planning and creation of electrical circuit diagrams for machinery and components within the specialized mechanical engineering sector. Your day-to-day activities involve utilizing CAE software, preferably EPLAN P8, to develop cable lists, terminal diagrams, PLC data point lists, and bills of materials. You will play a critical role in selecting and dimensioning control cabinet and automation components while ensuring all designs comply with relevant electronic regulations and standards. This position is highly collaborative, requiring technical coordination with internal departments, suppliers, and customers. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering, or alternatively, advanced training as a State-Certified Technician/Master Craftsperson in Electrical Engineering, or a completed vocational training in the electrical field with several years of experience.

Experience

  • Professional experience in electrical design within the mechanical and plant engineering sector
  • Practical experience in creating electrical circuit diagrams using EPLAN P8 or similar CAE systems
  • Experience in the selection and dimensioning of automation components
  • Proven track record of working with electrical standards and regulations
