Job Summary

As an Electrical Development Engineer at FERCHAU, you will take ownership of power electronic components throughout the entire product lifecycle, from initial conceptualization to full-scale series production. Your daily responsibilities include creating complex PCB designs and layouts, programming FPGA and microcontroller-based systems, and conducting rigorous simulations for voltage, current, and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). You will work hands-on to build prototypes, perform troubleshooting, and validate systems using various measurement tools. Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power Electronics, Energy Technology, Control Engineering, or Computer Science.

Experience

  • Professional experience in circuit design using standard ECAD tools such as Altium Designer
  • Practical experience in the development of power electronic components from concept to series production
  • Demonstrated experience in programming FPGA and microcontroller-based systems
  • Experience in simulation and analysis of current, voltage, and EMC behavior
  • Experience in prototype construction, troubleshooting, and validation using measurement equipment
