As a Metrology Technician at FERCHAU, you will be responsible for executing and overseeing complex measurement tasks to ensure the highest quality standards for industrial projects. Your day-to-day activities will involve developing and optimizing measurement strategies, performing detailed data analysis, and generating comprehensive test reports. You will play a pivotal role in quality assurance by managing, monitoring, and calibrating testing equipment within SAP systems, while also conducting Measurement System Analysis (MSA). Required Skills

Education

Completed technical vocational training with further qualification as a Technician/Master (Techniker/Meister) or a completed university degree in a technical field.

Experience

  • Long-term professional experience in metrology, quality assurance, or testing technology
  • Extensive experience in modern measurement methods and quality management systems
  • Proven experience in programming measurement software such as Calypso
  • Experience in training and mentoring staff in quality measurement technology
