Job Summary
The District of Wesermarsch is seeking a dedicated Team Lead for their Central Services, Personnel, and Organization department. In this role, you will hold personnel, organizational, and financial responsibility for a team of approximately 10 employees. Your day-to-day responsibilities include managing departmental budget planning, controlling, and resource allocation. You will ensure the operational readiness of the workforce through strategic procurement and the development of organizational directives and service agreements. Additionally, you will play a key role in supporting digital transformation measures within the central services unit. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape public administration in a scenic coastal region near major urban centers like Bremen and Oldenburg. Required Skills
Education
Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration (FH), Career qualification for the first entry level of career group 2, or completed Administrative Specialist training with successful completion of the Employee Course II (Angestelltenlehrgang II).
Experience
- Professional experience in public administration or high-level civil service
- Experience in personnel management and leadership of a team
- Ideally at least two years of experience in high-level administrative service
- Practical knowledge in budget and treasury law is advantageous
- Experience in developing organizational directives and service agreements

- Must be willing to undergo further training in leadership and organizational management. The position is based in Brake (Unterweser) and requires adherence to service hours if working part-time.
