Job Summary

As an Information Security Officer (ISO) for the District of Nürnberger Land, you will be the central authority responsible for planning, implementing, and auditing the organization's information security management system (ISMS). Operating in a part-time capacity (19.5 hours per week), you will advise senior management on security strategies, develop internal security policies, and act as the primary point of contact for security incidents. Your role involves a blend of technical oversight and organizational leadership, including the coordination of security awareness training and collaborating with emergency response officers to design contingency plans. Required Skills

Education

Experience

  • Professional experience in public administration or governmental IT environments
  • Experience in IT system administration or administrative management
  • Proven track record in interdisciplinary collaboration and communication
  • Experience in developing and implementing security guidelines and recommendations
  • Previous experience as an Information Security Officer is preferred but not mandatory if willing to undergo training
