Job Summary
As an Electrical Engineer at KLK EMMERICH GmbH, you will play a pivotal role in the E&I project lifecycle within a leading international oleochemical company. Your daily responsibilities will involve basic and detail engineering, calculating project costs, and overseeing the commissioning of new and modernized industrial plants. You will act as a key coordinator, managing external service providers and contractors while ensuring projects remain on schedule and within budget. A significant portion of the role focuses on plant availability and safety, including performing AtEX inspections and serving as the responsible electrical specialist (Elektrofachkraft). Required Skills
Education
University degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable engineering field.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in engineering or maintenance within the chemical industry
- Experience in managing investment projects in plant construction is preferred
- Proven experience in coordinating external contractors and engineering service providers
- Experience in performing and documenting plant inspections according to AtEX standards

- Must be able to assume the role of 'Elektrofachkraft' (Responsible Electrical Specialist) and 'Betreiberbeauftragter' for explosion protection. Role is based in Emmerich am Rhein.
