Job Summary
As a Data Engineer / Database Developer, you will take on process responsibility for the company's proprietary BI solution 'RUBI' and its key performance indicator (KPI) ecosystem. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve maintaining and optimizing the backend database structures, analyzing business requirements to create clean data models, and designing robust ETL pipelines using Python. You will be instrumental in connecting external data sources and ensuring stable, maintainable system operations with high-quality error handling. This role is ideal for a process-oriented professional who enjoys working with numbers and translating complex data into actionable reports for consultants and clients. Required Skills
Education
Completed IT training (vocational), or a degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Business Administration with an IT focus, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in database environments, ideally supplemented by initial knowledge in Business Intelligence
- Practical experience in Data, BI, or Database management
- Proven experience in building and operating ETL pipelines
- Experience handling Linux environments and server access
- Experience in programming and script development
