Job Summary

This role at the Center for Solar Energy and Hydrogen Research Baden-Württemberg (ZSW) involves the practical and technical development of electrical systems for hydrogen production and renewable fuel test stands. As a key member of an interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of electrical installations, from planning and designing automation technology to the physical assembly and wiring of control cabinets. Day-to-day tasks include creating circuit diagrams using EPLAN, procuring sensors and actuators, and performing commissioning activities such as IP address assignment and parameterization. Required Skills

Education

Completed training as a state-certified Technician or Master Craftsman (Techniker/Meister) in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable field.

Experience

  • Experience in electrical construction using EPLAN or comparable CAD systems
  • Basic experience with PLC technology and industrial communication protocols
  • Proven experience in planning and designing electrical and automation systems for test stands
  • Experience in the selection and procurement of electrical equipment and sensors
