Job Summary
This role involves supporting international scientists at a world-renowned research institute by implementing technical setups for laboratory and field measurements. You will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, and testing of complex electronic and optical measuring systems, as well as the documentation of scientific equipment. Day-to-day tasks include performing electrical installations in buildings and mobile measurement containers, manufacturing printed circuit boards using CNC tools, and manual/reflow soldering. You will also play a key role in the development and commissioning of electronic prototypes and the procurement of components. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work within a highly collaborative, interdisciplinary environment. The role offers a strong work-life balance with flexible hours, health promotion programs, and the stability of a public service contract (TV-L). It is initially a two-year fixed-term position with the potential for permanent employment.
Required Skills
Education
Vocational training in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
Experience
