As a Control Cabinet Inspector at FERCHAU, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of electrical systems for renowned mechanical engineering clients. Your daily responsibilities include performing standard-compliant inspections of control cabinets according to DIN VDE EN 61439 and EN 60204. You will conduct visual and functional tests, parameterize control components, and address field devices via bus systems. A key part of the role involves using specialized measuring equipment like Gossen Metrawatt to document results independently. Required Skills
Education
Completed further training as a State-Certified Technician or Master Craftsman (Meister) in the field of Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in industrial control systems and cabinet construction
- Extensive experience in standard-compliant testing procedures and low voltage technology
- Proven track record in the independent use of electrical testing and measurement equipment
- Experience in parameterizing control components and working with bus systems
