Job Summary
As the SAP S/4HANA Project Manager at the Max Planck Society (MPG), you will lead the strategic migration from SAP ERP to SAP S/4HANA across procurement, financial accounting, and payment transactions. This five-year fixed-term position involves overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from initial conceptualization to final rollout. You will be responsible for leading an interdisciplinary team, managing external service providers, and ensuring budget compliance and reporting to executive committees. Required Skills
Education

Experience
- Several years of professional experience in project management and leading complex transformation projects, specifically SAP S/4HANA
- Proven leadership experience in managing interdisciplinary teams and diverse stakeholders
- Extensive experience with financial, procurement, and payment processes, ideally within public sector budgeting
- Professional experience in IT-supported process optimization and high-level SAP systems
