Job Summary
This role involves performing complex microbiological analyses within an innovative pharmaceutical environment. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for the preparation, execution, and evaluation of analytical tests under strict GMP conditions, including aseptic work. Beyond routine testing, you will engage in troubleshooting, method validation, and the qualification of analytical systems. You will also play a key role in training colleagues and optimizing new analytical technologies. This position is particularly attractive due to its competitive salary range of €51,000 to €69,000, a 37.5-hour work week, and the opportunity for professional development within a growth-oriented industry. While initially fixed-term until September 2026, there is a clear option for permanent takeover by the client company.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as a Biological Assistant (BTA), Medical Technical Assistant (MTA), Chemical Technical Assistant (CTA), Pharmaceutical Technical Assistant (PTA), or a qualified Biology/Chemistry Laboratory Technician.
Experience
- Professional experience as a Biology, Chemistry, Medical, or Pharmaceutical Laboratory Assistant (BTA, CTA, MTA, or PTA)
- Several years of professional experience required for candidates with standard laboratory vocational training
- Practical experience in a microbiological laboratory environment
- Experience working within a GMP-regulated environment
- Experience in training staff on analytical systems and technologies

Additional
- Must be willing to work staggered shifts (early shifts starting at 6:00 AM and late shifts until 5:00 PM). Readiness for weekend work and on-call duty is required. Position is initially fixed-term until 30.09.2026 with an option for permanent employment.
