The Materials Tester will conduct diverse, non-standardized material science analyses and evaluations, actively contributing to the development of targeted analytical procedures. Key responsibilities include supporting test planning, defining work steps, preparing analyses, and taking responsibility for result evaluation and plausibility checks. You will also draft test reports, maintain testing equipment, and perform independent maintenance and repair work. Close collaboration with manufacturing, development, and other interfaces, along with advising internal clients, is crucial. The ideal candidate will have a completed education as a Materials Tester or Metallographer with specialized qualifications, experience in metrology and materials science, and strong communication skills.
