Job Summary
Join Merck's Healthcare division as a QC HPLC & Biochemistry Supervisor, playing a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and compliance of critical analytical results used for drug substance and product release. You will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of QC technicians and experts, overseeing daily laboratory operations, and prioritizing analyses (IPC, Drug Substance, Drug Product) according to operational needs. A core part of this role involves guaranteeing strict adherence to GMP regulations, supporting complex analytical troubleshooting, and managing deviations, investigations, and CAPAs. Furthermore, you will drive essential continuous improvement projects, leveraging tools like Lean and digitalization to streamline processes. This opportunity is ideal for a seasoned professional with a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least five years of combined experience in GMP laboratory management and team supervision, offering the chance to impact human health within a diverse and globally focused scientific leader.
Required Skills

Bachelor's degree in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, or an equivalent field
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a GMP laboratory environment
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing a team within a GMP laboratory
- Professional experience in supporting analytical deviations, investigations, and CAPAs
- Professional experience in driving continuous improvement projects
