Job Summary

This role involves joining HENSOLDT Sensors in Taufkirchen to drive the development of high-end radar, optoelectronic, and avionics systems. As a Firmware / FPGA Developer, you will be responsible for the entire development lifecycle, from defining firmware requirements and architecture to implementing VHDL code for Xilinx FPGAs. Your day-to-day tasks include creating VHDL testbenches for verification, defining low-level test cases, and developing hardware test scripts. You will work closely with cross-functional teams in system engineering, hardware, and software to ensure seamless integration and system performance. The position is unique for its 'temp-to-perm' strategy, offering an initial temporary placement with a clear option for permanent takeover by the client. It provides a highly collaborative environment where you will use advanced tools like the UltraScale+ MPSoC and Vivado Design Suite to solve complex electronic warfare and aviation challenges.
