Job Summary

This role involves developing and maintaining high-availability cryptographic services for one of Europe's largest banking IT service providers. Working within the Crypto Service unit, the successful candidate will bridge the gap between application software and hardware security modules (HSM) to secure the financial group's digital infrastructure. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing software architectures based on Clean Code principles, creating technical concepts, and analyzing emerging trends such as Post-Quantum Cryptography and Zero-Trust models. This position is unique as it offers the opportunity to shape the long-term security strategy of a major financial institution, including the migration to quantum-resistant encryption. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a comparable field of study; alternatively, completed IT vocational training with extensive professional experience.

Experience

  • 2-3 years of professional experience in a related field for candidates with a university degree
  • Multiple years of professional experience in IT for candidates with vocational training
  • Extensive experience and knowledge in Java development
