Job Summary

This role offers a central position in the testing of power electronics and the construction of specialized test benches for a high-tech spin-off from the Technical University of Chemnitz. On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for the assembly and setup of experimental structures according to project specifications, creating circuit diagrams and layouts in KiCad, and conducting measurements for test sequence control. You will handle the entire lifecycle of electrical circuits, including component selection, PCB assembly, and commissioning. The ideal candidate has a strong background in electronics for devices and systems, with expertise in hardware design or reliability testing. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as a state-certified Electronics Technician for Devices and Systems (Elektroniker für Geräte und Systeme) or an equivalent qualification.

Experience

  • Practical experience in hardware construction and circuit design
  • Demonstrated experience in creating electrical circuits, including component selection and layouting
  • Experience in energy and automation technology applications
