Job Summary

This critical role within the Municipality of Gräfelfing involves the strategic oversight and optimization of all tax-related matters for the local government. As the Deputy Head of Financial Administration, you will be responsible for developing communication structures, internal tax workflows, and maintaining comprehensive tax documentation. A significant portion of the day-to-day work focuses on the implementation and ongoing development of Section 2b of the German VAT Act (UStG), including the independent review of contracts and the preparation of VAT returns. You will act as a key advisor to internal colleagues and external partners, ensuring responsible management of public funds. Required Skills

Education

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in tax law, specifically focused on public sector VAT
  • Experience collaborating with tax advisors
  • Proven experience in municipal budgeting, cash management, and accounting according to cameralistics regulations
