Job Summary
As a Forward Deployed Engineer at SPREAD, you will bridge the gap between complex engineering data and actionable software solutions for major manufacturers like BMW and Volkswagen. Your day-to-day involves partnering directly with customer stakeholders to translate operational needs into technical plans, integrating data from diverse enterprise systems (ERP, MES, PLM), and building end-to-end solutions. You will develop user-facing applications using a mix of TypeScript/React for custom needs and low-code tools for rapid delivery. This role is unique for its high level of ownership, allowing you to shape the implementation of an AI-powered Engineering Intelligence Platform while working at the intersection of product development and customer success. You will be responsible for extending GraphQL schemas and building maintainable ETL pipelines to ensure data becomes a scalable asset for the client. The position offers a dynamic startup environment with the stability of working with industry-leading enterprise clients.

- 4+ years of engineering experience delivering software in real-world environments with constraints and deadlines
- Professional experience in JavaScript, TypeScript, and React

- Experience in customer-facing roles with the ability to explain technical choices to diverse audiences
- Experience navigating complex enterprise data landscapes such as SAP or Oracle
