Job Summary

This role serves as the central point of contact for all international tax matters within a fast-growing technology company. You will manage global tax compliance, support international expansion by evaluating VAT, withholding tax, and permanent establishment risks, and oversee transfer pricing strategies. Working closely with the Head of Finance and CFO, you will coordinate with external tax advisors for international registrations and filings while optimizing internal tax processes. A key part of the role involves building a group-wide Tax Compliance Management System (CMS) and supporting the sales team with tax-efficient strategies for global service delivery. The position offers a high degree of autonomy in a hybrid work environment, allowing you to shape the tax infrastructure of a leading IT monitoring software provider. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Economics, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification with a focus on Tax and Accounting. Tax Advisor (Steuerberater) certification is a plus.

Experience

  • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in international tax
  • Extensive experience in transfer pricing or international VAT, specifically regarding electronic services
  • Professional background in a large consulting firm and an industrial company
  • Experience in the software or technology industry is highly preferred
  • Proven experience in managing tax audits and international tax registrations
