Job Summary

As an Electrical Engineer serving as the Responsible Electrically Skilled Person (VEFK), you will ensure the electrical safety and legal compliance of all electrical systems across Berlin's public swimming facilities. Your daily responsibilities include acting as the central point of contact for electronic matters, exercising supervisory authority according to DIN VDE standards, and coordinating maintenance and inspection measures. You will evaluate the economic efficiency of new acquisitions, conduct technical documentation, and perform risk assessments. This role is unique as it offers a long-term public service career with the largest municipal pool operator in Europe. You will support construction projects, train instructed persons (EuP), and oversee external service providers. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering (Bachelor, Dipl.-Ing. FH) or a comparable qualification/equivalent professional experience.

Experience

  • Several years of practical professional experience in the electrical engineering field or a similar area of responsibility.
  • Professional experience in planning, coordinating, and controlling maintenance and repair measures.
  • Experience in evaluating the economic efficiency of electrical systems and managing external procurement.
  • Experience in conducting risk assessments and technical training for instructed persons (EuP).
