Job Summary
This role involves ensuring the safe and legally compliant operation of the power distribution network at Leipzig/Halle Airport in accordance with the German Energy Industry Act (EnWG). As a key technical lead, you will be responsible for planning, controlling, and monitoring maintenance and investment measures, while also overseeing technical documentation and economic planning. A unique aspect of this position is the responsibility of acting as the 'Responsible Qualified Electrician' (VEFK) and managing energy systems under DIN EN ISO 50001 standards. You will coordinate audits, manage risk and crisis protocols, and advise internal and external clients on network connection and metering contracts. Required Skills
Education
University or Technical College degree in an engineering field with a focus on Energy Technology or Electrical Engineering.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in a responsible position operating electricity supply networks
- Proven experience in project management and the execution of internal and external audits
- Extensive knowledge of current legal and regulatory requirements for grid operations
- Experience in creating and maintaining operational and hazard documentation
- Professional experience in a leadership or 'Responsible Qualified Electrician' (VEFK) capacity
