As an Operations Engineer for Gas and Water at Stadtwerke Landshut, you will play a pivotal role in managing the critical infrastructure of the Landshut region. Your daily responsibilities include project management, planning, and tendering for the construction and maintenance of gas and water supply systems. A unique aspect of this role is the strategic planning for gas network transformation towards renewable energy sources, specifically hydrogen. You will also handle technical equipment design, asset management, and the establishment of internal technical standards. This position is ideal for a proactive engineer who enjoys a mix of strategic planning and operational oversight. Required Skills
Education
Completed university degree (Bachelor/Master/Diploma) in a relevant technical field such as Energy and Building Technology, Utility Engineering, Urban Water Management, or Energy and Water Management.
Experience
- Professional experience in the planning, tendering, and awarding of engineering and construction services
- Practical experience in the operation or maintenance of gas and water supply networks
- Experience in applying technical regulations such as DVGW, VOB, and HOAI
- Experience with specialized software including CAD, AVA, and pipe network calculation tools

- Valid Class B driver's license required. Position is initially fixed-term for two years with the intention of permanent takeover. Location: Landshut, Germany.
