Job Summary
As a Transfer Engineer in Pharma, you will be instrumental in planning and executing transfer activities for cell culture processes, specifically in Downstream Processing up to a 12,000 L scale. This involves meticulous consideration of process characterization, validation, and regulatory requirements. You will lead a technical sub-team to implement processes into facilities, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams like Project Management, Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Validation, and Regulatory Affairs. Your role also includes independently preparing transfer documentation in line with legal and international guidelines, creating DSP process descriptions and reports, conducting risk assessments, and contributing to root cause analysis for production deviations. This position offers a chance to drive process optimization, interpret process characterization studies, and prepare audit/inspection documents, making it ideal for a professional eager to take on significant responsibility in the pharmaceutical and life sciences sector.
Required Skills
Education
Degree in Biotechnology, Chemistry, or a comparable natural science field (PhD, Master, or Bachelor with relevant professional experience)
Experience
- Professional experience in process or technology transfer is beneficial
- Experience in leading a team in a matrix organization is ideal
