As a Flight Control Systems Designer for Airbus Defence and Space in Manching, you will play a critical role in defining and designing the Flight Control System (FCS) architecture. Your daily responsibilities involve establishing FCS redundancy management functions, performing failure identification and isolation, and managing L2/L3 requirement definitions. You will ensure full requirement traceability and coverage while supporting system test activities and interface definitions for various equipment. Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable field of study.

Experience

  • Professional experience in Information Technology, Information Systems, or Development
  • Professional experience as a Design Engineer
  • Proven experience in systems engineering and requirements definition
  • Experience as a software engineer at the design and architecture level is highly desirable
  • Experience with aerospace-specific tools such as Cameo or Scade is an advantage
