Job Summary
This role involves acting as a key specialist within the Information Security department for a state development bank in Düsseldorf. You will be responsible for defining and implementing AI guidelines and policies, maintaining regulatory registers, and ensuring compliance with banking regulations such as MaRisk, DORA, and BSI standards. Day-to-day, you will advise users on the procurement and deployment of AI applications, conduct risk-oriented controls, and lead small projects related to strategic or technical security issues. The position is unique as it sits at the intersection of cutting-edge technology (AI, Cloud, Quantum Cryptography) and critical financial regulation, offering the opportunity to shape the 'second line of defense' in a socially and ecologically responsible banking environment. Required Skills
Education
Completed university degree (Bachelor/Master) in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Business Informatics, Law, or Economics) or equivalent professional experience.
Experience
- Professional experience in the evaluation and assessment of AI solutions within a regulatory environment
- Several years of professional experience in Information Security or a related field
- Experience in leading or managing sub-projects and strategic initiatives
- Proven experience in translating complex regulatory requirements into practical corporate guidelines
- Experience working within the financial services or banking sector regarding MaRisk and DORA
