Job Summary

As the Information Security Officer at Koblenz University of Applied Sciences, you will spearhead the digital future of the institution by expanding and managing the university-wide Information Security Management System (ISMS). Your daily responsibilities include developing information security processes in accordance with BSI IT-Grundschutz standards, conducting business impact analyses, and creating risk profiles. You will lead the implementation project, coordinate audits, and provide regular progress reports to the university presidency. This role is highly collaborative, requiring you to integrate security requirements across all departments and IT processes while conducting awareness training for staff.
