Job Summary

Join DESY, a leading international research center, as a Scientist focusing on High-Frequency Synchronization Systems. In this role, you will be instrumental in advancing, maintaining, and operating DESY's femtosecond-stable RF synchronization systems. Your day-to-day will involve scientific investigation into low-noise RF components (oscillators, multipliers, mixers, filters, switches, amplifiers, attenuators, phase shifters) across MHz and GHz frequencies, exploring methods to enhance high-power RF amplifier efficiency, and engaging in electronics design, prototyping, system characterization, and concept evaluation. This position is ideal for a highly creative individual with a strong background in RF electronics, seeking to contribute to cutting-edge research infrastructure within a supportive, international, and family-friendly environment that values work-life balance and professional development.
