Job Summary
As a PLC Automation Specialist, you will be responsible for the creation and continuous development of control programs and visualizations using industry-standard platforms like TIA Portal, STEP7, and WinCC. Your day-to-day work involves developing customized automation solutions for complex industrial plants and designing sophisticated control technology concepts. Beyond development, you will provide technical support via remote access and accompany commissioning phases both locally and internationally, accounting for approximately 10% travel. This role is ideal for a proactive professional who enjoys a mix of conceptual design and hands-on implementation. Required Skills
Education
Completed technical education (HTL/FH/TU) in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
Experience
- Relevant professional experience in PLC programming is mandatory
- Practical experience with Siemens S7 and TIA Portal environments
- Experience working with international technical standards and guidelines
- Proven track record in commissioning industrial plants or systems
