Job Summary
As the Head of Power Grid Management in Remscheid, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the regional energy transition. You will serve as the responsible electrical specialist (VEFK) and plant operator for the power grid, providing technical leadership and personnel management for your assigned team. Your daily responsibilities include overseeing grid operations, contributing to the development of grid expansion strategies in the context of renewable energy, and planning large-scale grid connection concepts. You will act as a key technical advisor for customers and participate in the engineering on-call rotation. This position is ideal for a communicative leader who combines technical mastery of electrical systems with a customer-oriented mindset. Required Skills
Education
Master Craftsman (Meister) in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in power grid operations
- Proven experience in leading and managing technical teams
- Experience working with technical regulations and industry standards
- Experience in managing complex requirements within the energy industry
- Experience in grid connection planning and large-scale projects
