Job Summary
This role is a dynamic position within a leading chemical company in Hamburg, bridging the gap between laboratory analysis and production oversight. As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for the day-to-day testing of raw materials, semi-finished goods, and final products using both chemical and physical methods. Key tasks include monitoring measuring equipment, conducting experimental series, and implementing corrective actions for deviations in standards such as viscosity, gloss, and color. You will also play a role in optimizing manufacturing processes and documenting analytical results. This position is particularly attractive due to its structured wage increases under the chemical industry collective agreement, starting at €17.95/hour and rising significantly over time. Required Skills
Education
Degree or vocational certificate as Chemical-Technical Assistant (CTA), Chemical Laboratory Technician, Chemical Technician, or Chemical Production Specialist.
Experience
- Completed vocational training as a Chemical-Technical Assistant, Chemical Laboratory Technician, Chemical Technician, or a comparable chemical production qualification
- Professional experience in an industrial production environment is preferred
- Experience in conducting and documenting chemical experimental series
- Proven ability in analytical and logical thinking for problem-solving in production standards

- Willingness to work in a 3-shift system (early, late, and night shifts) is mandatory. The position requires the ability to work on-site in Hamburg with a long-term commitment toward permanent takeover.
