Job Summary
This role is for an IT System Administrator specializing in workplace management, based in Gilching, Germany, for Schmitt Engineering. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing 2nd-level IT support, managing external service providers, and meticulously documenting IT processes and systems. A key aspect of the role involves supporting the lifecycle management of client hardware and peripheral devices, acting as a service owner. This position also offers the opportunity to contribute to various IT projects, both local and cross-site. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in IT/information systems, deep knowledge of Windows applications, and excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively across all organizational levels. This is a full-time, permanent position within a company known for its extensive engineering expertise and high-tech industry clients.
Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Computer Science, or completed vocational training as an IT Specialist, IT Management Assistant, IT System Electronics Technician, IT System Salesperson, or comparable qualification
