Job Summary
The Technical University of Chemnitz is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineering Technician to join their Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. This role involves the modification, repair, and new development of control systems for laboratory equipment, along with the technical support of project-related electronic data processing devices. The successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining computer systems, setting up experimental setups, and contributing to research data management and quality assurance within the professorship. Required Skills
Education
State-certified Technician in Mechanical Engineering, Information and Communication Technology, Technical Informatics, or a comparable field; or completed vocational training (e.g., Mechatronics technician) with equivalent skills.
Experience
- Professional experience in a comparable field (e.g., Mechatronics)
- Experience with microcontrollers and programming languages (Python, C++, C#)
- Ability to work at mains voltage level (certified)

- Temporary position for an initial 18 months. Must be able to work independently and collaborate with diverse scientific personnel.
