Job Summary
As an IT Systems Technician or IT Specialist at Rosenbauer IT-Systems, you will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing IT infrastructures for a diverse client base. Your daily responsibilities include setting up virtualization solutions, storage, and backup systems, as well as configuring and installing servers, PCs, and network hardware like firewalls and switches. You will be the primary point of contact for troubleshooting hardware and software issues both remotely and on-site, ensuring all activities are documented within a professional ticketing system. The role offers a high degree of autonomy, allowing you to lead migrations and rollouts while providing expert advice to customers. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in IT (e.g., IT Systems Technician or IT Specialist) or equivalent professional experience for career changers. Instructor aptitude certification (AEVO) is preferred.
Experience
- Professional experience in IT system electronics or system integration
- Experience in managing PC hardware, peripherals, and network components
- Practical experience with Microsoft server environments and virtualization
- Experience in customer service and technical consulting
- Experience with ticketing systems and system documentation

- Valid Class B (formerly Class 3) driver's license is required. Occasional travel may be necessary in exceptional cases. Eligibility for manufacturer certifications (Microsoft, Sophos, Fujitsu) is desired.
