Job Summary

This role involves the technical development and integration of coating and corrosion protection systems for maritime vessels. As a Shipbuilding Engineer, you will be responsible for creating technical concepts, planning anode arrangements, and designing integration solutions for brackets and foundations. Your day-to-day will include drafting construction and ordering specifications, coordinating technical interfaces between departments, and evaluating supplier offers. You will serve as a key technical contact for repairs and surface assessments while ensuring compliance with international standards such as DIN norms. Required Skills

Education

Completed technical degree or technician training in Shipbuilding, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a comparable field.

Experience

  • 2–5 years of professional experience in a similar engineering role or motivated entry-level candidate with relevant aptitude
  • Experience in developing technical concepts for coating and corrosion protection
  • Proven experience in creating construction, design, and ordering specifications
