Job Summary

This role involves working at the forefront of genetic diagnostics within the amedes group in Hannover. As a Scientific Associate, you will be responsible for the day-to-day generation of medical reports in molecular (hemato-)oncology and somatic genetics, directly influencing individual patient therapy plans. You will utilize cutting-edge Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) technology and liquid biopsy analysis to evaluate somatic variants. A key part of the role includes optimizing evaluation pipelines and developing new analytical methods to expand the diagnostic portfolio. Working within a certified quality management environment (ISO 9001/DIN ISO 15189), you will ensure the highest standards of diagnostic accuracy.
