Job Summary
As the IT Manager for Funke Kunststoffe GmbH, a traditional family-owned enterprise with over 60 years of history, you will lead a dedicated four-person IT team at the Hamm-Uentrop location. Your primary responsibility is to ensure the stable, secure, and smooth operation of the company's IT infrastructure while driving the strategic development of IT systems. Day-to-day, you will handle server and network administration, manage software updates, and oversee the procurement and installation of hardware and software. A significant portion of the role involves planning and executing IT projects, specifically focusing on ERP implementation and migration. This position is ideal for a hands-on leader who enjoys bridging the gap between technical infrastructure and business processes. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable IT qualification such as an IT Specialist (Fachinformatiker) certification.
Experience
- Professional leadership experience in managing and steering IT teams
- Extensive experience in the field of IT infrastructure
- Proven project experience specifically in ERP implementation or migration
- Strong background in system administration and network landscapes
- Experience in the selection, procurement, and installation of IT hardware and software
