Job Summary

As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the independent hardware design of vacuum technology systems using modern CAE tools, specifically Zuken E3. Your day-to-day responsibilities include the planning and dimensioning of electrical systems, which involves selecting automation components, sensors, and electrical drives. You will analyze technical requirements for hardware and control systems to create comprehensive technical documentation, including circuit diagrams, bills of materials, and parameter sets. Additionally, you will develop manufacturing and testing documentation in compliance with international standards such as EN and UL. This role is highly collaborative, requiring close coordination with adjacent departments to ensure standardized electrotechnical designs. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or a comparable technical university degree; alternatively, a certified Technician qualification with relevant professional experience.

Experience

  • Practical experience in electrical design using CAD software, preferably Zuken E³ or EPLAN
  • Experience in the programming and design of machine control systems and automation solutions
  • Professional experience in creating technical documentation, circuit diagrams, and parts lists
  • Experience in designing assemblies compliant with EMC standards and CE guidelines
  • Experience working within mechanical engineering or vacuum technology sectors is implied
