Job Summary

As an Automotive Wiring System Development Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing concepts for both high-voltage and low-voltage vehicle electrical systems. Your daily activities involve developing components for new wiring architectures, evaluating design alternatives with cross-functional partners, and managing requirements using DOORS. You will play a critical role in troubleshooting, performing systematic error analysis on wiring harnesses, and optimizing designs for packaging, cost efficiency, and ergonomics. The role includes on-site support for customer production phases and presenting technical results to internal and external committees. This position is ideal for professionals with a strong background in vehicle electronics who enjoy a mix of conceptual engineering and hands-on technical problem-solving. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering, or a certified Technician qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in automotive wiring system development
  • Practical experience using Siemens NX and e³ Series software
  • Experience in requirements management using DOORS
  • Hands-on technical experience in vehicle electrical systems
  • Experience in error analysis and design optimization for automotive packaging and costs
